
The Welsh Cheer Awards take place bi-annually to celebrate Welsh Cheer. The 2023 event has been set for January 14th at the Mercure Holland House Hotel in Cardiff
The 2023 AGM will take place on January 7th 2023.

The SportCheer Wales AGM 2022 took place on January 14th 2022. This was delivered remotely due to the Global Pandemic.
An update was provided on sporting recognition, plans for Team Wales, insurance and safeguarding procedures along with annual accounts.
Board member roles were elected for;
Athlete Representative following the resignation of Georgia Thomas – Tayla Hek Was elected
Allstar Representative as the seat was available – Amy Foster was elected
AA / SEN Representative as the seat was available – Sabrina Steele – Mountjoy was re-elected
Scoring Representative as the seat was available – Victoria Crandon – Jenkins was re-elected
SCW Coaches Conference 2021
The 2021 Coaches conference and AGM took place on January 9th 2021 via Teams
The conference included sessions from Scott Christie and Brianne Hanson, Marie Jenkinson and Dan Kessler on injury treatment and prevention, gym management and moving forward after the pandemic


SCW 2021 AGM
The 2021 AGM was attended well by many coaches from many programmes in Wales. The main points of discussion were;
- Election of open board member seats
- Agreement of financial accounts
- Discussion of progress towards sporting recognition
