The annual coaches conference for Welsh coaches incorporates the annual Annual General meeting for SportCheer Wales. The 2021 event has been set for January 9th. The venue is to be confirmed, but if the pandemic issues persist, this will be moved online to ensure the event will go ahead.
SCW Coaches Conference 2020
The 2020 Coaches conference and AGM took place on January 18th at the AZ Elite facility in Cardiff.
The conference included sessions on Stunting and single based stunting with Unity Cheer, Tumbling spotting and development with Carly Hawke, and a scoring overview for maxing out score sheets.
SCW 2020 AGM
The 2020 AGM was attended well by many coaches from many programmes in Wales. The main points of discussion were;
- Election of open board member seats
- Agreement of financial accounts
- Discussion of progress towards sporting recognition
